General local government management system, having the primary task of recording all-time board and committee meetings as well as every material associated with them.
After the debut in Kőbánya, several other local governments installed the software successfully during their ÁROP projects, using it with satisfaction for their everyday work until nowadays.
Name of project: management system for board and committee meetings
Tasks:The local government of the 10th district of Budapest decided to give a laptop to all of their representatives as their capital equipment, making its usage mandatory. Until those days the best practice was to hand out every proposal, submission and other documents to every representative and committee member in printed form before their meetings. This of course resulted in producing unnecessary costs and work, as well as having serious impact on the environment. Recognizing this, they approached our team with the plans of a software, which could execute the above mentioned task easier and faster, making it possible for the representatives to start working with their new IT assets.
Implementation:The first phase of the work was the designing process, during which not only we had to liaise with the management of the IT department, but we also had to talk about every step of the
hierarchy of the organization with some colleagues. We did not miss to talk to the mayor himself as well, who unfortunately could not spend too much time with us, but ensured us about his support.
As a result of the comprehensive designing process the system design, which composed the basis of development, came into being.
The system was installed at the end of the year 2008, and it is being used until nowadays. The guarantee for its success is that in the past few years more and more local governments installed the software which was updated several times ever since.
